NYC Dept. of Education - excused absences
Late from vacation - NO
Leaving early for vacation - NO

All excused notes must be presented at the beginning of class on the day the student returns to school, not weeks later.
Class Participation grade
Students who arrive on time and are prepared to work.
Students can earn up to 20 points per day for punctuality and work ethic
If you are late you lose 10 points
If you act out (behavior) you lose 5 points per instance

Cutting a quiz or text/exam will result in a zero for that quiz or test.
Failure to perform in a concert or final culminating performance without an excused absence will result in a failing grade.
Homework (15%) Turn in your work at the beginning of class on the due date! Give your completed homework to another student in your class to hand in for you on the due date or place it in my mailbox (Room 230) before it's due. Teacher names are above their mailbox!
